Release Notes for Songwriter’s Pad 2.2.4

This release includes the following bug fixes and performance updates:

  • Bug fix for install and loading issue on some Windows 7 and 8 PCs and Mac OSX
  • Updated syncing performance between Desktop, iPhone and iPad

NOTE: Upon updating you may run into the following issues:

  1. Device Limit Reached – To fix this, navigate to the Settings within SP, and tap the ‘Deregister all Devices’ link. Then sign into the app on the devices/computers you want to use.
  2. You cannot install on more than 2 Computers – Send us an email at support@paragoni.com and we’ll reset your license key.

 

Installing Songwriter’s Pad version 2.2.4

Before installing Songwriter’s Pad please download and install the latest version of Adobe Air first. https://get.adobe.com/air/
CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ADOBE AIR FIRST

Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 Upgrade or 1st Time Install**

  1. Download the latest version of Adobe Air from the link above
  2. Double-Click on the Adobe Air file and follow the prompts to install the program.
  3. Download the SongwritersPad.air  file to the Windows Desktop, not to any other folder or directory.
  4. Double-Click the SongwritersPad.air and follow the prompts to install the program.
  5. Make sure you are connected to the internet and run the program.
  6. If you have already purchased the app be prepared to copy-n-paste your license key into the text box when prompted*
  7. If you are using the free trial you have 14 days to evaluate it. Click the Cancel button when prompted to enter your license key

Mac OSX 10.6 + Upgrade or 1st Time Install**

  1. Download the latest version of Adobe Air from the link above
  2. Double-Click on the Adobe Air file and follow the prompts to install the program.
  3. Download the SongwritersPad.air  file to the Mac Desktop, not to any other folder or directory.
  4. Double-Click the SongwritersPad.air and follow the prompts to install the program.
  5. Make sure you are connected to the internet and run the program.
  6. If you have already purchased the app be prepared to copy-n-paste your license key into the text box when prompted*
  7. If you are using the free trial you have 14 days to evaluate it. Click the Cancel button when prompted to enter your license key

*If you do not remember your license key, or you are getting the message “your license can only be installed on up to 2 computers” please contact us here and provide the email address you made the purchase with and we will reset it for you.

**Known Adobe Air Issues:
If you get this error message when you’re installing Songwriter’s Pad…
Sorry, an error occurred. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.
Please retry the installation at least 3 times. If after 3 installation attempts, you still see the same error message, re-start your computer and then try to install Songwriter’s Pad again.
If after 3 retries and you still get the same error message, please report the problem here.
