An Important Update for Our Earliest Songwriter’s Pad Supporters
When we relaunched Songwriter’s Pad in 2024, we gave all original app purchasers — some dating back to 2010 who paid as little as $10 — free unlimited access as a thank-you. However, offering AI lyric generation, cloud sync, and storage across multiple devices at no cost is no longer sustainable. Moving to subscriptions ensures we can continue enhancing the platform and delivering new features for all songwriters.
The Value We Deliver
Since relaunching Songwriter’s Pad AI in 2024, we’ve added powerful features that help you write better lyrics, faster — including the AI Lyric Generator, cloud backup, and sync across iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, and Web. You’ve helped shape SP AI into a creative home for songwriters worldwide, and we’re just getting started.
We’re Changing Our Prices
Beginning November 1st, 2025, legacy free accounts for original Songwriter’s Pad purchasers will transition to a paid subscription.
Why this change?
When we relaunched, we offered our earliest supporters unlimited access as a thank-you. As SP AI has grown, providing AI services, storage, and multi-device sync at no cost is no longer sustainable. Moving to subscriptions ensures we can keep improving the platform for everyone.
